Movie Poster Cliches
This is the "text over eyes" poster cliché, the films that tend to use this type of theme is horror or science fiction. This particular genre of cliches tend to look more frightening and so therefore look to be more of the older age certificate e.g. 15- 18
The next Movie poster cliche is "lips" or a close up picture of a womans facial features. This is a very iconic movie poster that has been around for many years, its not particularly done very often recently as producers like to use more "high tech" images that are more specific to a particular film.
The next Movie Poster Cliche is the classic bright yellow background with a very simplistic fonts and images, the colour scheme that is typically used here is black, white and obviously yellow. This is an extremely eye-catching movie poster however the film genre is usually comedy.
The next movie poster cliche is a blue background with either a moon with an object covering the moon, water or animals. This tends to be in the "self help" movie genre.
The next movie poster cliche is the classic "face" that fills up the entire poster that has a surrounding bright fun buzzing fonts and images. The film genre tends to be comedy or sci-fi.
The last film Cliche is "looking into the distance" these tend to be more focused on action and or animation movies.
