For my film trailer I want to look at something to do with
time travel, I think this is a cool concept, however I haven’t found one
particular film that inspires me to completely recreate it.
My reasoning for this is due to my genre of film is drama/
sci-fi. I decided that I didn’t want to focus on a film that is of the
Horror/thriller frame as I think this type of genre is extremely common and I
somehow want to make sure that my film stands out.
However in my film I do think that I want some element to be
somewhat thrill esq, for example;
I want my film to have one main character that has time
travelled, and the main story is that I want him/her to try and find clues
through different things to try and figure out as to why, how to get back to
his/her life.
A film that I enjoyed that has time travel In it is called
“Age Of Adeline” this film is mostly focused on age time travel, as the lead
character has some sort of accident whereby her body was dead, but she ended up
that she stayed the same age forever.
Her age that she was, was mid-twenties, she already had a
child, she had to move to different places to keep up her new identity each
time, and her child was getting older than her.
However I think that I want my character to be one age e.g.
young/free/careless/fun, then something happens whereby she wakes up and she’s
older and she can’t tell anyone that
I can go two different directions whereby it could be
horror/ thriller whereby this is a missing person and they can’t find her and
my lead character is standing from afar looking over the problem but not able
to say anything as she has no idea how to go around telling people that she
travelled in time
She has lived her life with everyone
School, going out with friends, spending time with her
family, they all get older and she gets to be 20, shes finding life hard and
stressful and is upset as everything has gone wrong.
Then she goes to one specific location and wishes to go back
in time when life was easy and she was happy.
